Daniel Lalor
Campaign Founder and Director
Daniel Lalor founded the MTME Campaign in 2010 after developing tinnitus (ringing in ears) from over-exposure to loud music. He saw that there was a desperate need to increase awareness on how hearing damage can occur from loud music and to offer tips and information on how to safely enjoy music now and into the future. Daniel believes that without this information and increased awareness, the issue of leisure noise induced hearing loss will soon be the main health problem of Generation Y and younger.

Nick Parkyn
Campaign Consultant, Attune
Nick is audiologist and clinic owner of Attune's Ipswich clinic, where Daniel made first contact in regards to musician's earplugs and a hearing test. He developed tinnitus as a live music patron and rock musician, which lead him to the hearing health care industry and eventually to the MTME campaign as a technical campaign consultant. During his Master of Clinical Audiology, Nick completed a thesis on noise exposure and hearing loss in amplified musicians, knowledge he draws upon to support the campaign.
